Tribute - Luisetti Milling Wheat Range

A white, flaking/milling wheat

Tribute is a high yielding, low input wheat suitable for weet-bix, feed and whole crop silage production.

Sowing date

Sow from early May to mid August for wheat; early to mid Spring as a silage crop.

Do not sow deeper than 3-5cm. Direct drilling is not recommended.

Agronomic Characteristics

Short, strong straw, but will benefit from average plant growth regulators if early sown over over 8t/ha yields.

Shedding – above average resistance

Sprouting – susceptible

Mildew tolerance – excellent resistance

Stripe rust – good resistance

Leaf rust – average resistance

Tribute has a physiological fleck that does not affect yield or responds to fungicides. It is more pronounce in stressed crops

Grading

Seed weight is medium, tends to retain seed weight in dry conditions; screenings are medium and test weight is low to medium.
