A white, flaking/milling wheat
Tribute is a high yielding, low input wheat suitable for weet-bix, feed and whole crop silage production.
Sow from early May to mid August for wheat; early to mid Spring as a silage crop.
Do not sow deeper than 3-5cm. Direct drilling is not recommended.
Short, strong straw, but will benefit from average plant growth regulators if early sown over over 8t/ha yields.
Shedding – above average resistance
Sprouting – susceptible
Mildew tolerance – excellent resistance
Stripe rust – good resistance
Leaf rust – average resistance
Tribute has a physiological fleck that does not affect yield or responds to fungicides. It is more pronounce in stressed crops
Seed weight is medium, tends to retain seed weight in dry conditions; screenings are medium and test weight is low to medium.
