Brigadier

RGT Brigadier is a high-performing mangel-type fodder beet for maximum utilisation and animal performance

With a low DM (~13%) and high bulb exposure, livestock graze cleanly and fully, reducing waste and improving feed efficiency.

RGT Brigadier’s bulb gives a lot of energy and the tops have good protein, so when combined you get a well-balanced nutritional feed. RGT Brigadier also has the ability to retain good levels of quality leaf into the coller months helping benefit these systems further.

Dynamo

Dynamo is proven in diverse on-farm trials, Dynamo represents the newest genetics in fodder beet breeding. 

Dynamo boasts excellent disease and bolting tolerance. With a soft-fleshed bulb and an average dry matter of 11-14%, Dynamo is easily grazed by animals of all ages, particularly sheep and young stock. It’s large, protruding red bulb, positioned 60%+ above ground ensures easy grazing.

Geronimo

Geronimo is a thoroughly proven and consistently high yielding mono-germ fodder beet.

Geronimo sits approximately 40% above the ground, for easy grazing.

Sowing rate: 80,000 – 100,000 seeds/ha

Dry matter percentage: 16-18%

Anselmo

Anselmo is a newly bred yellow-orange mono germ variety of fodder beet, with consistently sized bulbs.

Anselmo sits approximately 50% out of the ground and has strong foliar growth producing large tops.

Sowing rate: 90,000 – 100,000 seeds/ha

Dry matter percentage: 13-16%

Kokomo

Kokomo fodder beet is a recent mono-germ hybrid cultivar that features low-to-medium dry matter bulbs designed primarily for in-situ winter livestock grazing.

Kokomo has a large red tankard shaped bulb that sits approximately 50%+ above the ground with good disease and bolting tolerance. The crop can be grazed in-situ by all stock types.
