Record crowds at recent sporting fixtures underlines the importance of sport in bringing people together and providing a forum for recreation and socialising, especially in uncertain times.
This is particularly true in rural communities which traditionally come together on Saturdays to support their local teams as well as participate.
As part of the rural community, Luisetti Seeds has been a proud sponsor of Canterbury country rugby for many years and we have recently extended our sponsorship with the Canterbury Rugby Football
Union.
This means the company logo will now feature on the back of jerseys of players in the Mitre 10 Cup Competition and we will be the principle sponsors of the two pre-season matches. The first is against North Otago at Rugby Park and the second is against Tasman at Hamner.
The Luisetti Seeds logo will appear on the players’ shorts for these two matches and there will be additional signage around the ground.
Canterbury Rugby’s CEO Tony Smail says his organisation is really proud to have the continued support of long-term partner Luisetti Seeds.
“Both organisations share similar values and connection to the community, so to have their support, highlighted by being our match day partner for our first Ranfurly Shield game against North Otago and then our pre-season game in Hanmer against Tasman is extra special in 2020,” he says.
