Vincent announces Rebecca Todd is the Canterbury Rugby Women’s Sevens Player of the Year at the 2018 Canterbury Rugby Awards.

The Luisetti family have been involved with rugby in Rangiora as players, coaches, and administrators for 5 generations. In fact, Edward and Vincent’s great grandmother washed the jerseys for the North Canterbury team in her copper for 25 years! We have 5 rugby-playing staff members, from under age players through to a mid-Canterbury representative, and needless to say we are very proud of them.

Luisetti Seeds have been the major sponsor of Canterbury Country Rugby for 11 years, and we are delighted to be able to give back to a sport, and more importantly, a community that means so much to our family and our company.

Vincent was privileged to announce Rebecca Todd as the Canterbury Rugby Women’s Sevens, Player of the Year, at the 2018 Canterbury Rugby Awards.

The rising popularity of Women’s rugby has been fantastic to see, and the Canterbury Rugby “Let her Play” campaign has been a wonderful initiative.

Rebecca Todd captained the Women’s sevens team for 2018 Nationals and led by example on and off the field. With a young team, Rebecca did an outstanding job of always striving to be better and challenging her team mates to do the same.
